Printing your photos with Camera Centre allows us to provide local jobs for local people here in Shetland and to continue investing in the latest printing technology.

Our local investment in the latest dry system printing technology helps the environment as there are no photofinishing chemicals involved. This in turn reduces our electricity consumption further reducing our carbon footprint.

We offer:

• Premium quality commercial standard photographic printing from your digital photos and most film formats
• Easy-to-use online photo ordering system (mobile, desktop or tablet) including Cloud Printing
• Genuine Photographs from 3.5" x 2.5" wallet prints up to Poster Prints 40" x any length
• High speed Noritsu High Definition (HD) prints can be lustre or gloss, colour, B/W or Sepia

When ordering prints online you will receive an email confirming your order, followed by another when prints are ready to collect, or to be dispatched.

If you require a size not listed on our website, please get in touch and we will be able to print your work the size requested. 

Did you know?  Our photographic print lab is serviced by an approved Noritsu engineer every year to ensure the best quality prints are delivered to our customers here in Shetland and beyond.

Production Time

Turnaround time from 2 hours on standard print orders dependent on workload, quantity, store trading hours - may be longer during peak periods. Call ahead to confirm turnaround if you have a deadline to meet.

You can collect your print orders in store 5 days a week - Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.

Prints up to A3 are packaged flat - larger sizes will be rolled. 

Paper Type

Your photos are printed on premium grade 250g PE coated minilab photo paper which meets the demands of professionals and amateurs.

Postage & Packaging

We have invested in high quality card backed strong manilla envelopes to give your prints every chance of arriving in perfect condition.  Your prints may also be put inside a protective cello bag for extra protection.

Print orders will generally be posted using Royal Mail 2nd Class Delivery.

File Types

Camera Centre prints from Jpeg files (.jpeg/.jpg) with a preferred colour space of sRGB although we can also accept Adobe RGB (1998).

In-store Print Kiosks

Our three in store touchscreen photo print Kiosks are really easy to use and are continually updated with the latest software.  Our kiosks will allow you to print your photos whether they are on your digital memory card, USB or digital device.

Do you have photos on your smartphone or tablet? 

To get started, simply follow the three step on-screen kiosk instructions to connect your Apple iOS or Android device to our WiFi (no more cables required!) and then select your photos to be printed. A member of the team will be on hand should you require any assistance.

Crop your images, adjust colour, easily remove red-eye, add text, convert pictures from colour to black & white and order various sizes and quantities of prints for while-you-wait fulfillment or pick up later.

You can also create photobooks, add interesting borders to the standard prints, invitations, calendars, collages, photo print cards and much more. With knowledgeable and patient staff at hand to help you learn the process, you'll be back time and time again.
